Josh and Kayla Sims, Lead Pastors
Josh, a native of Ozark, grew up here at Faith Christian Center. After a few years serving as a student pastor in a nearby community, God led Josh and Kayla to come back as Lead Pastors in March of 2015.
Josh and Kayla have been married since June 2014 and have one son.
Andrew and Meagan Johnson, Associate Pastors
Andrew grew up in the neighboring community of Ariton. During the early days of Faith, his grandparents were Sunday School superintendents here. Little did Andrew know, as he was answering the call of God on his life, that he too would get to play a role in the life of our church. Andrew and Meagan came on staff in January of 2017.
Andrew and Meagan have been married since October 2012 and have one daughter.
Our Team
Alex and Allison Spears, Worship Pastors
Alex, like Pastor Josh and Pastor Andrew, grew up in the area. He also spent many years here at Faith. After time away in high school and college, God brought Alex back to the area and back to Faith. After volunteering in our worship ministry, Alex was asked to be our Worship pastor in February of 2019.
Alex and Allison have been married since July 2020 and have one son.
Joey and Kelsie Spears, Student Pastors
Joey, having grown up in the area also spent many years at Faith. He spent some time traveling for work, but in 2020 both He and Kelsie felt the pull to move back to his hometown. Joey and Kelsie had no idea what the Lord was about to do in their life. After some time volunteering as a leaders in our student ministry, Joey and Kelsie were asked to be our student pastor in July 2023.
Joey and Kelsie have been married since October 2015 and have one daughter.
Phyllis and Ernie Perdue, Kids’ Pastors
Phyllis has served in the area in many different capacities of church ministry, with a primary focus in kids’ ministry. Phyllis is a lifelong resident of Coffee county, and Ernie is a Florida native who decided to make this area his home after meeting Phyllis, while he was stationed here on active-duty at Fort Rucker, now Ft. Novosel. Phyllis and Ernie joined our team in August of 2021.
Phyllis and Ernie have been married since October 2004 and have 4 sons and 1 daughter.
